In April of 2009, Toot was presented with a very highly recognized award, the Lagniappe award at RockBottom in Warrenville, IL. This award recognizes individuals that go above and beyond what is expected of them. Here she is with her manager, Laurie who organized a surprise including some of the family close enough to represent. It was a very heart wrenching event to sit around and talk about what an amazing person and manager Melanie Keller is.
